Tolle geführte Wikingerausstellung. Man wird kompetent und witzig durch die Attraktion geführt. Die Preise sind auch angemessen.

We had a blast here with the kids, really wonderful and immersive experience. We all learnt a lot and the had fun. The Lady that took us round was clearly passionate but made it really fun.

Great value for money, it was £14 for two adults and a 10yo. Fascinating experience with a very interesting tour guide.
He was also great at describing what we would see in the next part of the experience, which was a nice consideration for children. I wish I had got the guide's name so I could compliment him by name. He really brought the experience to life.
10yo says the best part was getting to try on the helmets and shields.

At first arrival I was unimpressed. The shop was not well stocked and the wares were cheap and nasty (although prices were steep). It is not a museum, so you cannot just take yourself round. You instead get a guided tour. So I was not expecting much when the tour started. I was pleasantly surprised. The guides was a lovely man who was very knowledgeable, and had an easy way of explaining things. He was a viking, and the tour starts in a replica long house. He tells you all about what life was like, then you get the chance to wander and see the artifacts from the house. Then you move through to a God room and learn about Norse gods, before getting a film about the Battle of Largs. Finally there is an information room with plaques and information you can read. The last bit is self guided. It takes about 45 mins to an hour. It was a pretty decent way to spend the time.

Take the wee one swimming every other week. Small pool is great for the smaller kids, always really warm and plenty of toys (floats, balls etc) to keep them happy. Would recommend this pool for all ages.
