These sunset pics are of Gareloch and Loch Long from the Rosneath peninsula, an area of extreme scenic beauty especially at sunset time. Kilcreggan and Cove are both worth a visit on the short drive from Helensburgh.

Having a wonderful time on holiday here it's a bit out of the way but a wonderful place and have great views of the loch from the garden and just a few minutes walk from the loch. The owners of the property we rented are very helpful and friendly the name of the house is called the rock house in Garelochhead and a wonderful relaxing place with local shops and transport

Clyde sea loch approximately 8 miles long from Helensburgh to Garelochhead
Popular activities include sailing, fishing and walking with train stations and access to the 3 Lochs Way at both Helensburgh and Garelochhead. There are also a few walks on the Rosneath Peninsula with excellent views of Gareloch, Loch Long and the Clyde Estuary. Helensburgh has a large variety of restaurants, cafes and bars to choose from.

I live in Rhu at the mouth of the Gareloch. It's a beautiful place just north of the Highland boundary fault line on the Clyde coast.
