Lynn is a most gracious host. Rooms was great and comfortable. Breakfast each day was excellent. Lynn met us at our car just as we pulled in, greeted us warmly and brought us to our room. Her restaurant and winery recommendations were also great and enjoyable. She helped to make our anniversary weekend special. We will be back!

We had a mini staycation recently, we live in Harper Tx and we were 30 min away from home. We had the Garden Suite which was beautiful and fresh cookies and flowers waiting. Our hostess Lynn met us with a warm smile and lots of recommendations on things to do.
Each morning at 8:30am there was breakfast waiting for us in a beautiful dining room. We had 2 courses a fruit course and a delicious entree that was outstanding. Your coffee cup was never empty and the conversation was very interesting. Very affordable for all the amenities, location near Main Street (where all the shops are ladies) and a breakfast that was unrivaled by many. When I was looking for a bed and breakfast this is exactly what I had in mind. Waking up to a wonderful breakfast before heading out to explore Fredericksburg. I highly recommend and can’t say enough, thank you Kevin and Lynn!

This was our first time staying at a traditional B&B and after staying at Das Garten Haus, it will be difficult to ever find one that meets our standards! Kevin and Lynn were amazing hosts. It is no surprise that they have been in business 25+ years because they are pros. Everything was perfect from the warm welcome as we got out of our car to the fresh baked cookies waiting for us in our room. Our suite was adorable and we loved the size! More than all this, our breakfast each morning was better than any breakfast we could have gotten at a restaurant. It was AMAZING!! And the conversation was an enjoyable addition to the meal itself 🙂

I would highly recommend Das Garten Haus to anyone staying in Fredericksburg and we will certainly be back!

Outstanding stay!! We stayed in the cottage which provides great accommodations, comfy bed, bathroom and a small kitchen area. Cable TV and wow is all I can say about the breakfast! Lynn and Kevin are great host. Both are very knowledgeable of the area and offer some great suggestions to visit. The grounds at Das Garten Haus are immaculate and beautifully landscaped. There are many areas just to sit outside under a beautiful Magnolia and enjoy the relaxing scenery. It was definitely worth the stay!

My wife and I stayed in the cottage for two nights on our honeymoon. It was the off season, so the B&B was fairly quiet. The room was cozy and wonderfully private. We requested the romantic package which included champagne and a delicious red velvet cake from a local bakery. One of the reasons we chose Das Garten Haus is the breakfast often lacking at many "B&Bs." Lynn, the innkeeper, is an amazingly kind and warm host, and to top it off her breakfasts are incredibly delicious. She was very helpful when we had questions pertaining to where to go in Fredericksburg. If you want a real bed and breakfast experience, don't pass up on Das Garten Haus!

We had a wonderful stay at Das Garten Haus. Our garden cottage was well equipped and very comfortable... no detail was overlooked. Lynn and Kevin provided delicious breakfasts in their home with some amazing dishes and warm hospitality. We really enjoyed meeting them and would definitely stay there again.

My boyfriend and I made a weekend trip to Fredricksburg this past weekend to visit the elephants at The Preserve. We stayed at Das Garten Haus B&B and it could not have been a more perfect place! It’s conveniently located to all the shopping and restaurants, and the property was beautiful, so welcoming and well kept. Lynn and Kevin were so kind and made our stay very enjoyable - from helping us settle in, to the delicious breakfast and the easy checking in and out. We will definitely be back for another stay!

Add Das Garten Haus to your favorite B&Bs. I spent my birthday weekend in Fredricksburg and staying here was the icing on the cake. Lynn is super nice, very welcoming, responsive, and informative. Our room was very cozy and had all the comforts of home: magazines, white noise machine, comfortable seating area, and nicely decorated. It also came with a fridge, microwave, snacks, water, fruit and the bathroom was stocked with thick, plush towels and local soaps, gels, and lotions. The bed was super comfortable with luxury bedding and pillows. Das Garten Haus is conveniently located and only about a half mile to Main Street. I will definitely stay here again!
