Nice German restaurant just off the square. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Service was fast. Food was good. Recommend if you are in and mood for authentic German food.

We always have a good time at Ketzler’s. The waitresses dress up in German costumes and are very friendly. We usually order the sausage sampler and the jaeger pork schnitzel with spatzle. You can choose two sides but we usually double on the spatzle (pasta). The home made apple strudel with ice cream is amazing! On Saturday night there is live German music on a digital accordion what is very entertaining.

Paid over $100 only to get bare minimum service & some plain/dry burgers. Our waitress Madison was rude and dismissive… she ONLY came to our table to deliver the food and drinks and disappeared the rest of the time. She acted very strange when I asked for a piece of cheese to go on my burger. We finally figured out we didn’t receive the correct burgers we ordered (she’d told us they were supposed to have sauerkraut on them) but she didn’t come back/we didn’t see her for a very long time & we were starving so we went ahead and ate. We didn’t want to have to flag down another server and wait for the food to be cooked again. We were hungry and had kiddos with us so we just went ahead and ate. When she came to deliver the check & we explained we had received the wrong food, she just said “sorry” but didn’t seem to be bothered at all. I had a great first experience there months ago but this one was terrible & we will not be back. We took a family member from out of town with us and I was so embarrassed for choosing this restaurant out of all the others on the square.

My family and I went here last night for the first time. And I was very impressed with the food. We got the fresh hot pretzel and potato pancakes for appetizers, both were delicious. I got the chicken schnitzel with grilled onions on top along with fried potatoes and red cabbage a very delicious and filling meal. The portions and the flavors here are great. This is a rare place where you get both quality and quantity together. The prices are fair. Also to mention the service was outstanding. Our server Joshua was very helpful, respectful, pleasant and hard working. We never had to ask for a refill or anything for that matter. He was on it. The atmosphere was very pleasant, culturally rich, warm, cozy, welcoming and it felt very German. We enjoyed the live music. This place definitely deserves 5 stars. We will be returning customers.
